Sam Melden

Sam Melden is Chief Communications & External Affairs Officer at the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA), helping lead the agency’s expansion of service across Lucas County. He came to TARTA from the Ability Center of Greater Toledo and previously held leadership roles at Food For Thought, the Servant Leadership Center and Leadership Toledo. Named one of Toledo’s 20 Under 40 in 2018, Melden was elected to Toledo City Council in 2019.
