Columbus, OH – Leadership Ohio announced the Board of Trustees has unanimously elected James W. Murray, Managing Attorney at Murray Co., LPA and President & Founder at Tiburon Company LLC as President of the board, and Shon Christy, President of Shon Christy Social Media, as Vice President. The board celebrated Nan Baker who completed her term as President and will continue service to the board in the office of Immediate Past President.
Both Murray and Christy will adopt their new roles as Executive Director Dr. Lisa Duty begins her fifth year at the helm of the organization's turnaround. The nonprofit will launch a new strategic planning process in 2023, creating a blueprint for the future of Ohio’s leadership.
"Jim and Shon have well-earned reputations as respected and visionary leaders with deep connections to Ohio. I look forward to their partnership which will ensure our organization retains its ability to lead with imagination, innovation and integrity," said Duty.
"Leadership is vital to the long-term prosperity of Ohio citizens and plays an increasing role in solving some of the greatest challenges facing society," said Murray. "It is a privilege to serve as board President, and reaffirming our commitment to the betterment of all Ohioans."

The new officers were elected to the Leadership Ohio Board at its December meeting. Trustees recognized outgoing Immediate Past President Todd Kleismit for his exceptional service across a nine-year term (2014 – 2022) which included tenure as President and Immediate Past President.
