Columbus, OH – Leadership Ohio, the state's premier nonpartisan civic leadership organization, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Nichelle Harris as its new Program Manager.
Harris is a Leadership Ohio alumnus (Class of 2021) that brings over 30 years of experience in nonprofit management, with expertise in facilitation, event planning, grant writing, and project management. As the founder and principal consultant of Ten Speed Consulting, Harris has dedicated her career to increasing the capacity of nonprofits through impactful project support.
Previously, Harris served as the Executive Director of the Ohio Afterschool Network, connecting and supporting hundreds of Out-Of-School Time professionals across the state. Her extensive leadership experience includes roles with the YMCA, YWCA, and the Marysville Exempted Village School District.
“Nichelle Harris is a dynamic leader with a passion for creating meaningful impact in communities,” said Lisa Duty, Executive Director of Leadership Ohio. “Her vast experience and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly elevate our program to new heights.”
In her new role, Harris will oversee the execution of Leadership Ohio’s Fellowship program, fostering meaningful connections among participants and ensuring the program’s continued success in inspiring Ohio’s most influential leaders.
Harris assumes her new position effective January 15, 2025.
