[Columbus, OH] – Leadership Ohio, the state’s premier non-partisan leadership program connecting and empowering influential leaders committed to driving progress in Ohio, proudly announces the addition of two distinguished professionals to its Board of Trustees: Chad Hoffman, President/CEO of Richwood Bank, and Dilip C. Mehta, CFO and CIO of the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. Their expertise and leadership will further strengthen the organization’s mission to develop and connect leaders committed to shaping Ohio’s future.

Distinguished Private and Public Sector Professionals
Chad Hoffman is the President/CEO of Richwood Bank. He is a CPA and graduate of Ohio Northern University with a degree in finance/accounting. He earned a green belt in Six Sigma and Lean from Villanova University.
He started his tenure with the bank in 1994 and has been a loan officer, IT manager, teller, bookkeeper, controller, and CFO. When he began there were 24 team members, and $68 million in assets. Today there are 210 team members, and the bank has assets over $1.2 billion.
As third generation president of a bank with more than 150 years of history, his vision to redefine the community banking model through unique customer experiences and value-added service lines has positioned Richwood Bank as a leader in the communities they serve.
His focus on employee loyalty led to eleven consecutive years of best workplace honors in the State of Ohio and four years with national recognition.
He enjoys spending time with his family including solving escape rooms, playing volleyball, or scuba diving near tropical coral reefs. He is also a LEGO fanatic.
Dilip C. Mehta, MBA, CPM, has over 35 years of experience in Finance, Accounting and Business Operations, and over 20 years in the State Government within Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Project Management & Operations.
Dilip serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Ohio Civil Rights Commission, providing both operational and programmatic support to the Commission. Prior to joining the Commission, Dilip worked with the Ohio Department of Commerce, the Ohio Secretary of State, Ohio Treasurer’s Office and Ohio Attorney General Office. Prior to joining the State Government, Dilip worked as a business management consultant for small to midsize companies predominantly in the medical industry.
Dilip is a graduate of Leadership Ohio Class of 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Business Management from University of Texas at El Paso and Master of Business Administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati. He is a past president and a board member of Asian Indian American Business Group and past board member of American Government Association (AGA) Central Ohio Chapter.
Strengthening Leadership Ohio’s Impact
The addition of Chad and Dilip comes as Leadership Ohio prepares to launch the Ohio Civic Health Index, a tool to measure and strengthen civic participation across the state. “Their leadership will be invaluable in strengthening the board and shaping a stronger Ohio,” said Lisa Duty, Ph.D., Executive Director of Leadership Ohio. “With their support, we will further our efforts to drive meaningful impact beyond political divides, enhancing Ohio's prosperity and quality of life.”
